Destination Baie de Somme

Created on January 1, 2022, the new Régie Destination Baie de Somme, endowed with legal personality, now aims to manage and operate equipment for economic, tourist and cultural purposes.

It commercially operates cultural and leisure facilities and ensures their development.

It participates in carrying out actions to promote the territory, which is part of the desire of all local actors to strengthen the attractiveness, in particular, of the territory for tourism.

Destination Baie de Somme manages 7 tourist establishments :

- Aquaclub de Belle-Dune
- Jardins de Valloires
- Golf de Belle-Dune
- Cap Hornu, Hôtel*** Restaurant
- Maison de la Baie de Somme
- Parc du Marquenterre
- Musée Picarvie

The Board of Directors of the Régie is composed of thirteen members distributed as follows:

- 4 Departmental Councillors;
- 3 members representing the EPCI within the Syndicate Committee, including 1 from the Community of Communes of Ponthieu-Marquenterre, 1 from the Agglomeration Community of the Baie de Somme and 1 from the Community of Communes of the Sister Cities;
- 6 qualified individuals from member municipalities of the Syndicat Mixte hosting the tourist sites operated by the Régie and the former presidents of the Syndicat Mixte due to their expertise and knowledge of local issues.
